Longwood student veterans to hold support meeting

"A Longwood Veterans' Support Meeting: Addressing the Transitional Needs of Current/Former Service Members and Their Loved Ones"` will be held Wednesday, April 8, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in Hiner 207.

The meeting, free and open to the public, is sponsored by the Longwood Student Veterans (LSV) organization and members of Longwood University's faculty and staff. Russell Silver, executive secretary for the Student Veterans of America, will give the keynote presentation. Other presentations will be given by Dr. Bill Burger, a Longwood faculty member, and Longwood staff members Cynthia Thompson and Lisa Seamster. There will be a question & answer session with the panelists. Refreshments will be served.
