Dr. Tom Akre and Longwood University are featured in a Virginia Wildlife article

Dr. Tom Akre, assistant professor of biology, and Longwood University are featured in an article in the July 2011 issue of Virginia Wildlife, a monthly publication of the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries.  The article, written by David Hart and featured on page 10, is entitled "The Foot Soldiers" and highlights Tom's research with students and Longwood's partnership with the Smithsonian Biology Conservation Institute.
