Longwood University mentioned in U.S. News & World Report article
June 20, 2011
Longwood University is mentioned in an article that appeared in the the June 17, 2011 edition of U.S. News & World Report. The article, "How to spot bad neighbors when buying a house," refers to a report by Longwood faculty Dr. Ray Brastow, Dr. Bennie Waller, and Dr. Scott Wentland, all members of the College of Business and Economics. The report, issued in summer 2010, examines how living near a sex offender affects both the price for which one can sell a home and the time it takes to sell.
The August 2010 news release about the report can be accessed at http://www.longwood.edu/2010releases_26711.htm.
