Senior exercise science major featured in the Independent Messenger

Kellie Bridgeman, a senior exercise science major from Dinwiddie, is featured in an article "Intern brings kinesiology to the ‘Y'" for the June 19 edition of the Independent Messenger. Bridgeman is completing her 400-hour summer internship at the YMCA of Emporia. Longwood has about 40 exercise science interns out and about this summer in gyms, cardiac rehab units and sports performance facilities.
