Enterprise car rental donates funds to Longwood Design Lab

Tom McCombs, area manager for Enterprise car rental, presented a $5,000 check to Longwood graphic design professors Chris Register (left) and Wade Lough (right). The funds will be used to purchase equipment for Longwood's Design Lab, a student-run design agency at Longwood University. Among the pieces of equipment to be added to the lab are a large-scale scanner for two- and three-dimensional work, a black-and-white inkjet printer that will produce film negatives and positives for use in various printing methods, and a large-format inkjet printer. 

This summer the Design Lab will move to the newly renovated Bedford Hall, which houses Longwood's Department of Theatre, Art and Graphic Design.
