Dr. Adam Franssen, assistant professor of biology, will conduct a Reddit Science AMA (ask me anything) on Tuesday, July 8 from 2-3 p.m.  Franssen will discuss his research on how changes in the brain during pregnancy and parenthood make moms smarter. Mother rats have been shown to have improved memory, better foraging abilities, slowed effects of aging and increased boldness.

Reddit is one of the top 25 websites in the United States, and the science section regularly features professors from top institutions like Duke University and the University of Cambridge on their question-and-answer AMA series. The science subreddit has more than 5 million subscribers.

Anyone can participate and ask Dr. Franssen questions.
