The exhibitions "Potluck! Works by LCVA Members" and "Layered Meanings and Allusions: Prints by Janice Lemen and Barbara L. Bishop" will be on display at the Longwood Center for the Visual Arts through April 26.

The exhibitions Potluck! Works by LCVA Members and Layered Meanings and Allusions: Prints by Janice Lemen and Barbara L. Bishop will be on display at the Longwood Center for the Visual Arts through April 26. Bishop (1938-1991) was a 1960 Longwood graduate who taught in the art department from 1965 to 1990, served as chair for 14 years, and was instrumental in establishing the LCVA. Lemen (1916-1994) taught art at Longwood from 1944 to 1979 and started the LCVA's Virginia Artists Collection in 1951. The collection has grown to 679 works.
