Dr. Vincent Magnini, Assistant Professor of Marketing, was a recent guest on the statewide National Public Radio (NPR) program With Good Reason. In the segment “Hidden Persuasion,” which aired Dec. 8-14, he discussed how many companies are now hiring “actors” to strike up conversations with suspecting customers to convince people to buy their products.
