Longwood’s Dan Druckenbrod featured on the Metro/Virginia front page of the Richmond Times-Dispatch

Longwood’s Dan Druckenbrod, assistant professor of environmental science, is featured in a major story (with photographs) on the front page (B-1) of the Metro/Virginia section of the Richmond Times-Dispatch (8.26.08).  The story, “The trees of knowledge—Historic Va. Landscapes tell a story,” was written by Jamie Ruff and discusses how Prof. Druckenbrod and his students have been conducting research that reconstructs the history of the forests and development at two of the nation’s most historic homes: Monticello and Mt.
