Brenda Skidmore, president of the SunTrust Foundation, will be the Executive-in-Residence speaker Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 7 p.m. in Hiner Auditorium. Skidmore, who lives in Richmond and has served in a variety of positions with SunTrust for 34 years, also is senior vice president of government relations for SunTrust Bank. SunTrust, with assets of $180 billion, is one of the nation's largest financial institutions, and through its flagship subsidiary, SunTrust Bank, the company provides deposit, credit, and trust and investment services to retail, business and institutional clients. The Executive-in-Residence series is presented by Longwood's College of Business & Economics and is co-sponsored by Barrett Capital Management LLC and SunTrust.
