A program on "Negotiating the Second Language Learner in the Classroom" will be presented Thursday, Nov. 19, at 10 a.m. in the Prince Edward Room in Blackwell Hall by Xiaohong (Julia) Zhu, a visiting professor from the Anhui University of Technology, Longwood's sister institution in China, and by Don Butler, lecturer in English, who teaches English as a Second Language. They will discuss relationship dynamics and communication strategies in the multicultural classroom.
