The Meeting, a one-act play that portrays a fictional meeting between Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X, will be performed Tuesday, Feb. 3, at 7 p.m. in Molnar Recital Hall in Wygal. The play’s messages include war abroad, violence at home, inner-city hopelessness, and self-empowerment among African-Americans. The event, sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs & International Student Services, is part of Longwood’s celebration of African-American History Month.
