Longwood Theatre will present The Trial of One Short-Sighted Black Woman vs. Mammy Louise & Safreeta Mae from Feb. 25-28 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 1, at 3 p.m. in Jarman Auditorium. The play, directed by Pamela Arkin, associate professor of theatre, examines stereotypes and racial identity and illustrates how strength can overcome discrimination and despair. Tickets are $8 for the general public; $6 for Longwood faculty/staff, seniors and non-Longwood students; and $4 for Longwood students.
