March 3, 2009
Ellen Coffey, a mental health awareness advocate, will speak March 3 at 8 p.m. in the Lee Grand Dining Room of Dorrill Dining Hall on “Out of the Shadows: Talking Honestly About Mental Health.” Coffey, a doctoral student at Belmont University, is the program manager for the National Mental Health Awareness Campaign and is “committed to challenging the stigma that surrounds mental disorders,” according to an official biography.
