Sustainability expert Henrik Selin will speak Tuesday, March 24

Sustainability expert Henrik Selin will speak Tuesday, March 24, at 7 p.m. in Molnar Recital Hall in Wygal on "Global Sustainability and Climate Change." Dr. Selin has conducted research, taught and written about issues of the environment and sustainable development. He is an assistant professor and director of graduate studies in Boston University's Department of International Relations.

A reception will follow the lecture, which is part of the Globalization and Sustainability portion of Diversity Days, sponsored chiefly by Longwood's Office of Multicultural Affairs and International Student Services. Co-sponsors include the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences; the Cook-Cole College of Arts and Sciences' SENCER Project; Dr. William Holliday, associate professor of history; Dr. Geoff Orth, director of the Honors Program; and Dr. Carl Riden, assistant professor of sociology and co-director of Women's and Gender Studies.
