Longwood University Professor Bennie Waller was a guest on the National Public Radio show With Good Reason during the week of Saturday, January 24 through Thursday, January 29th.
While owning a home is still part of the great American dream, most of us are novices when it comes to navigating a typical real estate transaction. Bennie Waller (Longwood University), associate professor of finance and real estate, says too often the incentives of the agents, lenders, appraisers and inspectors are not closely aligned with those of the homebuyer.
