An article by Virginia Kinman, Electronic Resources Librarian, has been published in the January-March 2009 issue of the Journal of Electronic Resources Librarianship (Vol. 21, No. 1). The article, "E-Metrics and Library Assessment in Action," examines five years of usage statistics for Greenwood Library online databases in conjunction with other library and institutional data. Results are compared to major findings from other researchers, with examples of how e-metrics can be incorporated into a broader assessment of the library's success in meeting the needs of its users.
