DRIVING DIRECTIONS AND PARKING INFORMATION
 

Longwood University is located in the heart of historic Farmville, Virginia about an hour's drive from Richmond and Charlottesville. As you approach the town, follow the signs to Longwood.

From the South (via I-95)
I-95 north to Exit 31 (Stony Creek) then west on S.R. 40 to Blackstone. In Blackstone, take U.S. 460 west to Farmville. Take Longwood exit off 460.

From the South (via I-85)
I-85 north to Exit 42 (S.R. 40--McKenney) then west on S.R. 40 to Blackstone. Then take U.S. 460 west to Farmville.

From the North (Charlottesville area)
Take S.R. 20 south to Sprouse's Corner (Dillwyn), then U.S. 15 south to Farmville.

From the North (Northern Va./Richmond via I-95)
I-95 south to Powhite Parkway (Exit 79). Take Powhite to Rt. 288 then exit on U.S. 360 west. Continue on U.S. 360 (about 35 mi) to S.R. 307. Take 307 to U.S. 460 west to Farmville.

From the East (Hampton/Newport News)
Take I-64 west to I-95 south, then take downtown expressway (Rt. 195) to Powhite Parkway. Continue as indicated in From the North directly above.

From the West (Lynchburg)
Take S.R. 460 east to Farmville. Take Longwood exit.

The Human Resources Office is located in Lancaster Hall, on the corner of High and Pine Streets. Visitor parking is located in the Craft House parking lot on Buffalo Street.
