With a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and a background that includes Human Resources, Konjit offers the right balance of skills and experience to her team and the Longwood community.  She joined the University in November of 2004 from Junior Achievement of Central Virginia, a non-profit organization that brings business role models into schools to deliver educational programs.  Konjit is a native of Ethiopia and a citizen of the US, residing in central Virginia.  She is currently pursuing her MBA while employed at Longwood.  Contact Konjit if your questions or needs for service regard:

Lori joined the HR Team in May of 2007 after spending the past five (5) years providing Administrative and Personnel Office Support in her family's business and over five (5) years as a Licensed Insurance Agent for the State of Virginia. Through continued training at Longwood she hopes to further provide the Human Resources Department with as much assistance as possible and hopes to grow as a Longwood family member for the future. Lori serves as an assistant to the Human Resources team in miscellaneous tasks and projects related to Banner. Lori plays a big role in A/P leave reporting, performance management document tracking as well as employee information data entry into our HR systems.

Laverne joined Longwood University in September of 2001 providing administrative support for the Athletics Department and transferred to the Human Resources Department during the summer of 2005. In addition to assisting the HR Department in a variety of roles Laverne is also available to assist other departments on an as-needed basis as Longwood University’s administrative floater.

Lisa joined the Longwood staff  in October of 2006 after spending the past year at Twin Lakes State Park as an office administrator. Her HR experience includes work with the Virginia State Police in the personnel department at their administration headquarters.  A native of Powhatan Lisa is a Longwood University alumnus with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Barbara joined the Human Resources staff in February of 2007 after working for Ash Lawn Opera Festival since June 2005. With 20 years of accounts receivable, payroll, and human resources experience with Bryce Resort in the Shenandoah Valley, Barbara brings to us excellent variety of skills and experience. Barbara is originally from the Shenandoah Valley and now calls Cumberland home. She plans to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Longwood University.
