The Greenwood Library provides limited space for display of exhibits that promote the Library's collections or University-related programs and activities.
- The three glass display cases located in the Atrium are appropriate for small exhibits that can be placed under glass.
- Exhibits should inform and educate the public. They may not commercialize or editorialize personal or partisan opinions or viewpoints.
- The Library will only mount displays for departments or organizations affiliated with Longwood University.
- Priority is given to Library-sponsored exhibits. In the case of two or more guest exhibits proposed for the same period, priority will be given to the first submitted proposal that meets the criteria stated above.
- A display may be mounted for a maximum of one calendar month.
- Display cases in the Children's Literature Room are designated for Library use only. The two Hamlett cases are dedicated to the display of children's literature. A related display case houses materials from the Droessler Collection.
- Faculty, staff and leaders of campus organizations wishing to mount an exhibit are required to contact Lydia Williams at 395-2432 or e-mail at williamslc@longwood.edu at least thirty (30) days in advance of the date the display is to be mounted.
