Computer Printing and Photocopying

The following policies and procedures are strictly enforced for Longwood students, faculty, and staff, and community users in the Library.

Lancer CA$H

The Library's computer printers and photocopiers use Lancer CA$H. All users will need a current Longwood identification card or “Guest Card” for all printing and photocopying.

Non-affiliated users may purchase a “Guest Card” for $1 at the Add Value Station located in Lankford Hall. You will then need to add funds to this card.

There are several ways you can add funds to your LancerCA$H account:

Faculty may print from all library printers using a department ID card. Please check with your department's administrative assistant to obtain a card.

If there is a malfunction with the printing, please contact the IITS Help Desk in Coyner Building. If there is a problem with your Lancer CA$H purchase, please contact the LancerCard Center at 434-395-2715 or email lancercard@longwood.edu.

Printing

Black and white printing costs $.09 cents per page and color printing costs $1.00 per page. Please read the University’s Academic Computing Laboratories Printing Policy for further information. Alternatively, you may also save files to USB storage devices; save to the workstation and e-mail as an attachment; or burn to a CD.

Photocopying

You must have a cash balance of at least $1.60 on your Lancer CA$H account to make photocopies. Photocopies cost $.08 per page (double-sided copies cost $.16).

For large photocopy jobs, you may also go to Longwood’s printing services, located at:
