Ruffner Hall

Rededicated on April 23, 2005, the new Ruffner Hall replaces the original building constructed in the 1800s and destroyed by the Great Fire of 2001 on April 24. Reconstructed using the original archival blueprints, Ruffner Hall today, with its signature Rotunda and original dome paintings, continues to be the heart of Longwood's historic campus. The classical architectural design remains true to the original concept while featuring the latest high-tech infrastructure and upgraded amenities.

Ruffner Hall is the home of the Cook-Cole College of Arts and Sciences and other academic/administrative offices.
