Longwood Virtual Alumni Weekend 2021 is packed with even more fun and reimagined experiences that will allow you to connect with classmates, share laughs and memories, and virtually take part in some of the traditions that make Longwood so special.

2. Who is invited to Virtual Alumni Weekend?

Virtual Alumni Weekend is open to ALL alumni and friends no matter what year they graduated!

3. I heard there will be a charcuterie and mixology class. Is this true?

Join Brittany Wood Synder ‘06 (@charcuterieboardsbybritt) and learn all the tricks and tips to create a picture-worthy Longwood-themed charcuterie board! After you have built your own snack board, Brittany is going to turn it over to Scott Smith ‘05, co-owner of Outer Banks Distilling for a behind-the-scenes tour of their facility before teaching everyone how to make his favorite cocktail! Recipe cards and recommended shopping lists will be provided!

4. Do I need to register in order to participate?

Only two events require registration: hosting a trivia team and participating in the #LongwoodTogether Virtual Races. All other events will take place on our Facebook page and open to everyone. We do encourage you to join the Facebook event to get the latest news and updates!

5. Other than the virtual races what else is planned for the weekend?

We've got a whole host of exciting virtual events for the weekend, including Family Feud-style trivia, and mixology and charcuterie classes! After the classes grab a drink and snack of choice and tune in for a special virtual jam session with Longwood musical legend Pat McGee ‘95. You can check out the full schedule here!
