We want to get to know you, so during the first week of classes, we offer two Open Houses.
At the Open House you can:
We also cover reading, testing and study strategies.
Open to all students these are a series of one-hour, in-depth workshops where you can engage with other students on topics inherent to academic success.
Part discussion and part activity the topics we'll cover include:
The best part is you can just show up. No advance sign up is required and you can come to as many workshops as you want.
These individual meetings are typically 1/2 to 1 hour and you can come once or twice, or attend the entire semester.
In your OnTrack, we'll target your individual needs:
Our discussions may range all the way to nutrition, stress and sleep issues and we may connect you with other offices on campus for more in-depth assistance.
Together, we'll make an individualized plan, early in the semester, to touch on each topic and have an academic check-up at midterm time.
Have a C, want a B? Going for that A? Tutoring is for you! Your tutor will be a trained, successful undergraduate student.
Our group Tutoring session, for your specific course, is free and there's no referral required to attend.
Also, you don't have to sign up in advance.
From History papers to Chemistry lab we can help you write right for your disciple.
The staff are students who have been carefully selected for their expertise and understanding of the subject area and discipline.
You may come as many times as you wish and stay as long as you need for a one-on-one consultation.
