RESEARCH AND SCHOLARLY INTERESTS
I am interested in the effects of differential isolation on
genetic
variation, systematics, and speciation in natural populations,
especially reptiles and amphibians. I am currently working on a
long term study of a local population of the salamander Ambystoma
opacum, and experimental hybridization in the genus
Hemerocallis.
