Marketing is the process of planning and executing the conception, pricing, promotion and distribution of ideas, goods and services to create exchanges that satisfy individual and organizational objectives (American Marketing Association). Every money related transaction whether buying a soda at the local gas station or multi-million dollar business mergers, Marketing plays the central role of business. Numerous positions await Longwood Marketing majors in their quest for a career in Marketing. 96 percent of Longwood Business majors are either employed or entering graduate school upon graduation from Longwood. This statistic makes Longwood the highest in the state among other Virginia schools.
