Program graduates are prepared to enter the profession of Athletic Training with a comprehensive education experience that is enhanced through the interaction of their classroom, clinical, and professional education experiences. Students completing the Athletic Training Education Program recognize the necessity of the continued pursuit of educational opportunities and maintenance of professional excellence. Entry-level standards for entering the Athletic Training profession are defined by the Board of Certification's Role Delineation Study of the Entry-level Athletic Trainer and the educational standards to meet this end are maintained and monitored by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).
