Alumni Resources
Career Network Volunteer

- Remember being in college and wondering what to choose
as a major or wondering what you could do after college with that major?
- Did you ever wish that you could talk with someone to
find out about internship and job opportunities in a career of interest to
you?
- Ever wished you could have talked with someone who had
gone to graduate school in the same field you wanted to pursue?
Thing haven’t changed—today’s students want the
same! One of the best resources for students is alumni—both recent graduates as
well as those who have been in the work world for a number of years. Whether
you are currently in a field related to your major or doing something totally
different, you can help students and make a difference in their future.
The Career Network in LongwoodLink
is the answer!
In the Career Network you can assist students and alumni
with career related issues by volunteering to:
- talk with students and alumni about issues related to
your career field,
- give advice regarding an internship and/or job search,
- critique resumes and cover letters,
- conduct mock interviews,
- post internships for students, and
- post jobs, both entry-level and experienced, for
students and alumni.
You decide what you want and have the time to do.
How do you participate?
