The degree
Bachelor of Music with a Concentration in Education K-12 is designed to prepare
the student to be endorsed and teach music in the schools. Each student develops
as a practicing musician in voice or in instrumental studies, and acquires the
skills necessary to communicate musical concepts and skills. Opportunities to
observe and to teach in the classroom situation prepare the student for an
intensive professional semester at the end of the program of study.
