If I Had A Hammer
On February 23, students of SPED 322, Math, Science, and Social Studies Adaptations for Students with Exceptional Needs, partnered with Hampden Sydney students to participate in the "If I Had a Hammer" www.ifihadahammer.com math initiative to teach children how to use fractions. In addition to the curriculum, children build an 11 X 8 feet house in a two-hour teambuilding event.
