What We Do

You and your child have many exciting times ahead of you! Babies begin to learn from the moment they are born. Every child is different. Some children need more help to learn than others. The Infant & Toddler Connection of Planning District 14 (PD 14) provides supports and services in the child’s natural environment (home, day care, etc) for children with developmental delays from birth to age three. The first three years of a baby’s life are very important. Infants and toddlers are learning to walk, talk, recognize people and do many other things. The Infant & Toddler Connection is a program that helps identify if any developmental delay exists and provides supports and services to address the delay.

Infant & Toddler Connection’s early intervention supports and services include:

  • Speech/Language Therapy
  • Physical Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Assistive Technology
  • Audiology
  • Family Training/Counseling/Home Visits
  • Health services
  • Nursing services
  • Nutrition services
  • Psychological services
  • Social Work services
  • Special Instruction
  • Vision services

Any child from birth to age three who is suspected of having delays can be referred.
