Scholarships and Graduate Assistantships

The Graduate Studies office offers a number of Graduate Assistantships.  Information can be found at http://www.longwood.edu/graduatestudies/graduate_assistants_home.htm

The Department has some funding from the Virginia Department of Education to provide graduate assistantships to persons willing to work in Virginia public schools.  Please contact Dr. Power-deFur (powerdefurea@longwood.edu or 434.395.2369) for further information.

Communication Disorders Foundation (CDF) provides two student scholarships annually to graduate students in speech-language pathology or audiology who are studying in Virginia.

 

 

The Jason Foundation plans to offer a scholarship to second year master’s students in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Longwood University who are interested in working with individuals with brain injury.
