Associate Dean of the Graduate School, University of Kentucky—Increased graduate school enrollment for diverse students from 4.0% to 7.2% in four years; developed summer research programs in mathematics, science, and technology; directed Kentucky Young Summer Scientist research program for undergraduate juniors or seniors, administered budgeted graduate school fellowships, and scholarships, and awards for diverse students and women

 

Co-Founder and Director of the Center for the Study of Academic Achievement in Learning Environments, University of Kentucky—Administrator of professional development institutes for Complex Instruction—a prescribed cooperative learning approach to eliminate issues of status; administrator of state-funded TeacherBridge program consisting of a full-year professional development of middle and high school tutors of literacy skills for at-risk public school populations

 

American Council on Education Fellow, University of Kansas—Yearlong administrative fellowship working under Chancellor Robert Hemenway studying transformational leadership in higher education
