Independent Study Projects
Many students take on an independent study project. Some do it for their General Education Goal 15, some do it
for an honors thesis, others do it for a summer job.
American Chemistry Society
The American Chemical Society has lots of resources for students including
career guides and a minority scholarship program.
REU Programs
The National Science Foundation funds undergraduate research through the Research Experience for
Undergraduates program.
Their website has a list of all the universities that participate.
Tutoring
The Learning Center holds tutoring sessions for Chemistry 101, 111/112, and 305/306.
