Longwood's Pre-Pharmacy major is designed to prepare our graduates to enter graduate level pharmacy programs like those at Shenandoah University and Virginia Commonwealth University. Most Pre-Pharmacy students earn college credit while working as an intern in a pharmacy. The suggested schedule below includes all of the courses required for admission into pharmacy school, but is also a good schedule for anyone interested in related fields like medicine, dentistry, physical therapy, or biomedical chemistry. The chemistry faculty work closely with each student to devise a schedule to suit his or her objectives.
