Promoting interest in chemistry and related scientific fields

The purpose of this organization is to promote interest in chemistry and related scientific fields through community service projects, field trips, and participation in campus activities.

We are a student affiliate chapter of the American Chemical Society, and we currently have 15 active members. Members of the chemistry club have traveled to regional and national ACS meetings, performed chemical demonstrations for Longwood students and local elementary students, participated in a tutoring program for freshmen and organic chemistry, participated in a beer making project, as well as other activities.
