What time do I need to arrive, and where do I go? All Masters degree candidates report at 4:45 p.m. to Blackwell Hall Foyer in Ruffner with academic regalia (carry hoods, do not wear).

What do I wear under my robe? Graduates are requested to wear dark shoes with dark trousers or skirts no longer than their gown. Don't wear bright colors on top that will detract from your hood.
Will there be a Professional Photographer? During Commencement, professional photographers from Grad Images will take pictures of each graduate during the ceremony. They will have proofs available on their website within 3 days after graduation at www.GradImages.com. Graduates and their families are invited to pre-register their contact information to receive notifications at the following link: http://gradimages.com/Preregistration.
How many guests am I allowed to invite? There is no limit on the guests each graduate may have.
Can I bring my pet? Only registered service animals are permitted.
What is the size of the Longwood diploma and when will I receive it? The Longwood diploma is 13 1/4" width by 18 1/2" length. It will be mailed to the address you provided approx. 4-6 weeks after your graduation date.

Is there a reception for graduates? A reception for masters degree graduates and their commencement guests will be sponsored by the Graduate Student Association. The reception will immediately follow the ceremony on the front lawn of Jarman.
When and where is the Graduate Ceremony? Friday, May 18 at 5:30 pm in Jarman Hall.
How many guests is each Graduate allowed? There is no limit on the guests each graduate may have. Tickets are not needed.
