Degree Requirements

Communication Studies Classes

There are a wide variety of classes available for the Communication Studies major and minor.  Communication Studies majors are required to select one of two concentrations: Digital Media or Public Relations.  For additional information about the concentrations please click on the concentration: Digital Media Concentration and Public Relations Concentration.

 

Mass Media Concentration

  • General Education Requirements - 38 credits (The Department requires COMM  400 for the satisfaction of Goal 12)
  • Additional Requirements for the B.A. Degree - 6 credits (Humanities - 3 credits, and 3 credits in a foreign language at the 202 level or above)
  • Major Requirements - 44 credits
