Minor in Communication Studies

You're not sure you want to be a Communication Studies major.
That's fine.
But you're interested in learning more.  That's good.
So you're thinking about the Communication minor.
That's great!

One of the most important things
employers look for in making a new hire is communication skills.

Minoring in Communication Studies can help you develop your own communication skills and help you understand some of the reasons people communicate in the ways that they do--on the job, in the media, and at home.

Becoming a COMM minor is easy.  Just go to the Registrar's office and complete a Declaration of Minor form.  Although this is all that's required officially, it's a good idea to meet with a member of the Communication Studies faculty who can advise you about which courses best suit your interests and goals.
