Before the Jarman renovation, a new building is planned for construction between Brock Commons and Race Street South of Bedford along Franklin.  It will also accommodate the Communication Studies and Theatre Department when constructed.

The Department of Communication Studies and Theatre is currently located in Jarman in space that is inadequate for an academic program. Currently, the Department is accredited by The National Association of Schools of Theatre (NAST); however, the continuation of this accreditation is contingent upon better academic facilities for the program.

The picture below is a preliminary design.  This design has been altered since this rendering and will be updated when current drawings are available.
