- The Student Virtual Counseling Pamphlet Collection offers an extensive list of on-line resources for topics ranging from alcohol and substance abuse, relationships, and study skills to depression, traumatic events, and test-taking skills. You can find information on about any mental health of personal issues here, and the site is designed with students' concerns in mind.
- The APA Help Center is hosted by the American Psychological Association and is a site full of information designed for non-professionals who want to learn more about various psychological topics. The site also includes a feature that allows visitors to search for mental health providers in their area.
- The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) is another really good source of information on mental health topics and issues.
- The American Psychiatric Association sponsors the HealthyMinds.org site, which also contains information on a wealth of subjects related to mental health.
- Recognizing and Responding to Students in Distress: A Faculty Handbook is a free resource to all Virginia college and university campuses.
