While focusing on academics may be your main job here at Longwood, maintaining and cultivating positive relationships is a very important aspect that can’t be neglected. Longwood has many social networks, clubs, and events to help you stay socially involved! Social wellness encompasses many aspects such as intimate relationships, starting friendships, deepening and expanding our existing friendships, and even dealing with the loss of a friendship. Here at Longwood we have several “social spots” including Lankford Student Union, the Health and Fitness Center, the Java spot, the Lancer Café, D-Hall, Brock Commons, and many others! Not just an opportunity to make friends, but to build friendships that last a life time.
