Center Programs & Services
The N.H. Scott Center for Diversity & Inclusion offers numerous programs and services for students. Below are a few of the programs sponsored by the Center:
- GABLE-S Group a designed to provide a safe and inviting space for students to express their feelings and experiences as it relates to their identity as a member of LGBTQIA community. The group meets every Monday at 8pm in the Center (Lancaster G28A).
- GET IN THE ZONE - Ally Zone Training developed to educate the campus community on how to create and supprt spaces and environments that are more inclusive of the lived experiences of students who belong to the LGBT community. This training is offered monthly, and is available to for all LU students, faculty and staff.
- Focus on Films: Cultural Film Series is held twice per month and focuses on cultural films that will engage students in honest dialogue around topics of race, ethnicity, sexuality, religious affiliation, ability, socioeconomic status, gender, political affiliation, and national origin.
