Just what the title says: a gathering in the heart of Virginia to showcase the latest undergraduate research from around the nation (even from across The Pond) into the Middle Ages. This year's theme bridges the centuries between the medieval era and the modern to consider how they and we ourselves construct and maintain identities.

The nation's largest and only American Folk Art small building collection will be described at The Longwood Center for Visual Arts on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 7:00 pm. The documentary "Rendered Small" and a presentation on the collection and this area of American material culture will be followed by discussion with the collectors and the filmmakers.
