Former Directors of the UNCG Speech and Hearing Center and Professors in the Department of
Communication Sciences and Disorders, Vicki McCready, MA, CCC-SLP and Louise Raleigh, MEd, CCC-SLP will be presenting on Lesson Learned in Supervision and Clinical Education.  

WHY ATTEND?

ASHA is now requiring all persons supervising students or
mentoring clinical fellows to complete 2 hours of supervision
training. This presentation will offer training with a focus on ten
specific lessons. ASHA CEUs are anticipated.

LEARNING OUTCOMES 

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to:

  • Explain the rationale for being trained before supervising.
  • Compare and contrast the characteristics of master clinician with master supervisor.
  • Define the three aspects of feedback.
