#IASK Consent Rally-April 16

Saturday, March 30, 20194:00PM - Tuesday, April 16, 20194:00PM
At Beale Plaza 4:00 PM
Organized by Sasha Johnson and Jonathan Page

The Consent Rally & March is an interactive opportunity for our community to raise awareness about the serious causes, effects and remediation of sexual misconduct, specifically focusing on consent. The hashtag and image, #IASK," will be used to market the event, encourage the main goal of the event, and continue the conversation after the event.  The Consent rally & March will afford the campus community a time to learn more about consent, ask the tough questions, and show their support of healthy relationships.   Liz Chassey from Southside Center for Violence Prevention will lead an engaging discussion following a view of The Line by Nancy Schwartzman.  If you would like to make a poster for the march, please stop by our Table in D'Hall starting April 1st from 11:00 - 12:30.  Please contact Sasha Johnson, CHES (Education and Prevention Coordinator for the Office of Student Conduct and Integrity) for details johnsonss@longwood.edu .
