"‘You Don’t Always Get Your Way’: Justifying Inequality in the Household Division of Labor”

This presentation explores how a sample of heterosexual, married men understand and justify their involvement in the household division of labor. Dr. Grether examines men's reports of time spent on housework and childcare tasks and the justifications they use when they say that these arrangements are fair.
