A little over a century after Joan of Arc became a cherished patron hero for Longwood, we are preparing for the arrival of a new statue on campus.
The ceremonial dedication with the Board of Visitors will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday November 16th at the site of the statue on the south end of Brock Commons, an event open to all on campus and the public. It will be a great moment for the University --- this Joan of Arc will be an inspiration for Longwood for generations to come.
