Please join us for the first Wednesdays with Women's & Gender Studies program of the semester. “With Great Care: Examining the Process & Difficulties of Writing The Other” Mary Carroll-Hackett, MFA, Professor of English and Creative Writing, current students Kailtyn Crow and Abby Schiano, and recent alumni, Joel Worford and Brigid Hokana. Longwood Creative Writing students, alums, and faculty explore their ongoing concerns about Writing the Other. Can we, as artists, write inclusively and sensitively, or are there times we have to just stay in our own lanes?
