PageTurners: Fall Free Family Workshop is an exciting new endeavor presented in partnership with the Virginia Children's Book Festival. Greenwood Library is partnering with the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Center for Global Engagement to host a Human Library on October 22 at 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm at the Greenwood Library. Light refreshments will be served.
The Human Library is an event that aims to create a dialogue and understanding between people. Individuals volunteer as human “books” and participants at the event can “read” the book – meaning they would share in a conversation about the “book's” experience.
